Default Decent price on epsom salt?

Has anybody found a good place to get epsom salt at a good price? The best I've found is $.30 per pound plus shipping from Virginia, or $.38 per pound locally (Montana)from a chemical supplier in the phone book under "chemicals." Has anyone found cheaper or is there an alternative to 1200 pounds of epsom salt?

Localy the best price also from chemical supplier in the phone book nder "chemicals."
is $28 cnd for 25kg in Quebec P.Q Canada. Epsom salt is the best product for the skin. An alternative that sould work is water salt softening, it is cheeper but i have never try, you can take a look at http://www.saltinstitute.org/45.html

I have sent an e-mail to the salt institute about : Can softening salt be a substitute and what are the effects on skin for such a density.

I made a test with Softening water salt today. If you have any skin nicks the salt will produce skin irritation so i think it can not be used. The best for the skin is epsom salt.
