Has anybody had the experience of a jolt in a paricular part of their body wilst floating? Just about every time I float my hand or a part of my body will just jump as if being hit with an electric shock without the pain. Normally it happens about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way through the flaot. Maybe it is old emotions releasing?? Any ideas??

Sir,
Nervous jolts are an electrical jolt from an ion. Access Ions are caused from highly charged memory created by fear or trauma. Your relaxed state subdued other memories that guard these highly charged subliminal memories. Barb |

Sir,
Nervous jolts are an electrical like bolt of lightening that neutralizes access ions. Access Ions are caused from highly charged memories created from subliminal fear or trauma. Your relaxed state subdued other memories that guard these highly charged subliminal memories. It is a good response. Barb |

It sounds like kundalini arousal. It could also simply be ideomotor movements, i.e., a thought in the mind is unconsciously expressed in the body. My clients often get these during massage or hypnosis. It happens during deep relaxation. It's like dreaming dog syndrome in a way.

I've been looking for the answer to this question for over a year. I own my own tank and I often have these nervous jolts when I float late at night. I never get them when I float in the morning after a good night sleep. Thanks for the answer.
