Im actually interested in building a float ROOM. Could your plans be adapted to such a purpose? Do your plans include sources for all the components that are not easily found?( salt, fans, filters etc) Can I incorporate a UV filter? Are any of the fans or heaters noisey?I would like to ask more questions. Would you be able to leave me a # where you could be reached in my E-mail. : Azoth108@aol.com ? How soon will those plans be available? |

Plans will be available on CD-ROM ( 2d, 3d plans , plus video. )in about 1 or two months. The only difference between a float room and a tank is the inclosure. You still can use common waterbed component ( Source:Waterbed store for heater and liners. ).You just need to have common bed dimentions ex: 72"X48" for standard bed . The heater are noise free and for the fan you have to place some tubing to reduce the air level just enought to make circulation.
I will send you my phone number at work on your e-mail. Bye Antonio Madeira |

I too am in the process of building a tank.
What did you do for a temp controller and pump? I am expecting to use custom electronics to control the temp and use a waterbed heater for providing the heat. I am expecting to use a smallish pump and some filtering tools from a hot tub. |

I use a dallas semiconductor DS1620 Digital thermostat and drive a 350 Watts waterbed pad. U can download the schematic and software to program the dallas here:
