Im consiering building a tank.

Has anyone built tanks using materials other than wood and liners? For example Acrylic? Ive built fishtanks using acrylic, and I wonder if it would work for this application?

I'm about to build a tank using a prebuilt fiberglass tub 4'x8'x30" and aquaculture filter, pump, heater, and UV sterilizer.

I was thinking of doing fiberglass also. How did you do your Tub? Any way you could point me to prices for the electrics you used?
