Default Information request

I am new to all this, it seems very slick, and I'm looking into the feasability of making one for my home. The big(est) question I have right now is this .. I would without question have some friends that would want to 'try' it after it's finished. Well, I have a buddy that's a 'large' man, and his wife is 'very large'. Honestly, is 10 inches of water saturated with epsom salt sufficient to float a large, heavy person?

Also, what are the structural requirements? Are they less than or more than that required for .. say .. a waterbed? I live in a mobile home, and am wondering if I would need to (or want to) reinforce the supports under where the tank would be.

I read about a tank being manufactured that has the heaters around the edges to provide a 'current' that keeps you centered in the tank. Has anyone tried this at home? And since friends are friends, does the cleaning process resolve any issues if someone 'pees in the pool' so to speak?

Any information is appreciated, thanks for your time!

Opps .. almost forgot, one more thing .. the street in the park I live on has a lot of cars going by that have the big bass speakers in the trunk. You know, the ones that rattle the glass as the drive by. (Inconsiderate b*stards). Anyway, since that constitutes both a sound, and a structural vibration, are you insulated from that in the tank?

Again, thanks..

The standar tank is 4 feet large. When the body is horizontal the 800 pounds of epsom salt will support your friend. For noise it can be a problem, check also that your floor can support the wheight.
